She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stevenson and Elma Baynard; her former husband Arthur Smith; her husband Gerald C. Miller; her son Robert Lee Smith; and her sister Sheila Young.
She is survived by: her children, Deneen Smith Roe, Merlin Smith, Cornelia Smith Lee (Connie) and Cynthia Smith Stevens; her siblings, Edward Baynard, Yvonne Dudley and Annette Wideman; and her half-brother Gerald Miller. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
