He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew McLaren and Ida McLaren; and his siblings, Gus, Jack, Roddy, Frank, Raymond, Emmett, Dotty, Hazel, Cecelia and Helena.
He is survived by : his wife Melanie McLaren; his daughter Carol Anne Holt (Alan); his grandsons, Andrew Holt and Forrest Holt; his great grandchild Emmett Holt; and his sisters, Gladys McLaren, Alice McKinnon and Hilda McDonald.
