With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan E. Webb (Harrington, Delaware), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on October 11, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James McIlvain and Katherine McIlvain. She is survived by: her friends, Betty Gillette and Ruthann Jefferson; her husband David Terrance Webb; her sons, Timothy Short (Brenna) and James Todd Webb (Carly Wilson); and her sister Judy Fister (John). She is also survived by nieces; nephews; and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Wesleyan Church (240 Delaware Ave, Harrington, DE 19952). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
