He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin and Ruth Virginia Watkinson of Greenbush, Virginia.; and his sister Margaret Ann Williams. He is survived by: his wife Della Case Watkinson; his children, Joseph R. Watkinson (Linda) and Elizabeth A. Culver (Robert); his brother Benjamin F. Watkinson (Janice); and his grandchildren, Fawn R., Brooke N., Meadow H. Watkinson and Riley C. Culver.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melvin Funeral Home (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home (15522 S Dupont Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Asbury United Methodist Church of Harrington or to the Harrington Senior Center.
