She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian V. Crompton and Edward Crompton Jr.; her siblings, Edward Crompton, III and Shirley MacBlain; and her son Lonny Hurd Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Lonny; her close friend Lonny G. Hurd Sr.; her daughters, Tracy Oechsler (Jim) and Jenny Shulli (Paul); her daughter-in-law Leah Hurd; her sisters, Sandra Barr and Grace Costin; her grandchildren, Grant Williams (Colleen), Andrew Oechsler (Montana) and Elli Oechsler (Braeden); and her great grandchildren, Cayden Williams, Lincoln Williams, River Jean Oechsler, Atlas Wolf Oechsler and Wren Mae Oechsler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Milford Church of the Nazarene (11 Salevan Pl, Milford, DE 19963).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vivian's memory to the Fellowship Fund at the Milford Church of the Nazarene, 11 N.W. Salevan Place, Milford, DE 19963.
