Metheny and Kathryn Metheny of Hartly; his wife Barbara T. of Hartly; his children, Jamie Metheny (Teresa) of Milton and Tara Lynn Wilbur of Hartly; his sisters, Linda Nickerson (Jim) and Kathy O'Neal; his grandchildren, Justin Postlethwait (July), Jayme Metheny, Lane Metheny, Riley Wilbur, Bryce Wilbur, Taylor Wilbur and Thomas Wilbur; his nephew Christopher Legar; and his great grandchildren, Bella and Luke.
