She was predeceased by: her parents, Lemuel Brown and Marjorie Stanley; her husband Robert J. Cole; and her former husband Arthur Freeman. She is survived by: her brothers, Samuel, Joe, Gordy, Lannie Jr., Benny Sr. and Tyrone; her son Robert Gregory Cole (Delores); her sister Sylvia Tolbert; and her grandchildren, Karen Freeman, Keith Landry, Darius Gaskins (Rebecca), Karla Adutwum (Emanuel), Robert Cole, David Johnson, Reginald Waters, Denzel Jones (Jamise), Tiffany McFadden (Dominique) and Robert Cole Jr. (Alexandria). She is also survived by 62 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
