With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherman Mitchell III of Hartly, Delaware, who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Mitchell, II and Beulah Moore Mitchell; and his siblings, William and Linda. He is survived by: his wife Marina Mills Mitchell of Hartly; his daughter Denise Ashbourne of England; his siblings, Samuel Mitchell and Shelia Mitchell; his niece Lynda Mitchell of Norfolk, VA; and his granddaughters, Wendy, Khanly and Angelina.
Viewing will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (522 Main St, Marydel, MD 21649). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Columbian Home Association, Knights of Columbus, 219 Vepco Blvd, Camden, DE 19934 or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Marydel, MD.
