She was predeceased by: her parents, Mankichi Niikura and Shizu Niikura (Tsunoi). She is survived by: her husband Marvin E. Fortney, Jr.; her children, Marvin E. Fortney III (Michelle), Theodore E. Fortney (Erin) and Sabrina Lowman (Jaymes); her siblings, Takeichi Niikura (Musako), Toyoko Takanasi and Tetsuo Niikura; and her grandchildren, Conner (Bailey), Keiran, Ricky, Ryan, Ethan and Mayumi.
