It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William C. Nickerson Sr. of Hartly, Delaware, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nickerson and Dorothy Simpson Nickerson; and his siblings, Edward Ebby Nickerson and Sara Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Joan Nickerson; his son William Charles Nickerson, Jr.; his stepdaughter Ruth Ann Washburn; his brothers, James Nickerson and Dick Nickerson; his grandchildren, Bradley Nickerson, Brock Robinson and Danielle Washburn; his great grandchildren, Erica Liles, Sara Graves, Nathaniel and Nicholas Washburn; and his great great grandchild Jacob Sargent.
