She was predeceased by : her parents, T. Frederick Peterson and Annie Lee Peterson; her husband Paul Kite Spence; and her siblings, Nina Lee Moody, F. Carlton Peterson, Beverly Francis MacGuinness and Vivian Ann Lee.

She is survived by : her son Stanley Paul Spence (Helen); her grandsons, Robert Paul Spence (Melissa) and Gregory Michael Spence (Katsy); her great grandchildren, John Paul Spence, Anna Chanell Spence, Lennyn Aria Spence and Xavier Michael Spence; and her sister Myrna Faye Fritzsche.
