With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Cooley of Hockessin, Delaware, who passed away on November 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Taylor John King and Clara Cox King; her husband Richard C. Cooley, Sr.; her son Richard C. Cooley, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Etsuko Teraoka Cooley; and her sisters, Janie Boles and Johnnye Hutchins.
She is survived by: her son Brooks Taylor Cooley; her grandchildren, Nathan (Jupiter Cooley), Benjamin Cooley and Etsuko Cooley; her great grandchild Jasper Cooley; and her sister Nell Reese.
