He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McLaughlin and Helene McLaughlin; and his brother Frank, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Mendenhall McLaughlin; his children, Kathleen Sherman (Karl "Max"), Nancy Bassney (Patrick), Michael McLaughlin (Kathryn Packart) and Megan McLaughlin (Jim Wilkin); his grandchildren, Eric Sherman (Sara), Mathew Sherman (William Detwiler) of Kelsey Sherman, M. D., Kevin Bassney (Emma Hartmann), Sean Bassney, Erin Bassney, Kristin McLaughlin (Sean Fleuriel), Laura McLaughlin, Natalie Mclaughlin, Melissa McLaughlin, Alema Brkic (Osman) and Alem Lemes; and his great grandchildren, Autumn Bassney, Audria Sherman, Anna Sherman, Haris Brkic, Emir Brkic and Amina Brkic.
