He was predeceased by: his parents, Ming Chai and Shuet Chun Lau. He is survived by: his wife Sze-Mei "Cindy" Lau; and his children, Heidi Lau (Jonathan Ho) of Wilmington and Kenneth Lau (Lisa Nguyen) of Albany, California..
