She was predeceased by: her parents, John Munson and Emmy Munson (Larson); her husband Norman LaPorte; her son Richard LaPorte; and her sister Helen Brandt.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Hanna (Jerry), Carl LaPorte and Thomas LaPorte (Nancy). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
