He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dr. Clifford A. Angerer and Helena Hurley Angerer; his wife Mary Angerer of Hockessin, DE; his children, Mary Ellen Arthurs (Pat) of King George, VA, Kathryn Barton (Sean) of Media, PA and Rev. Jay Angerer (Lisa) of New Orleans, LA; his grandchildren, P. J., Shannon, Jacob Arthurs, Renee and Cole Angerer; and his brother Dr. Robert Angerer (Pamela). He was also cherished by 2 great-grandchildren.
