With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph Marra of Hockessin, Delaware, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Marra; his wife Kelly Lee Campbell; and his brother-in-law Donnie Piegalski. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Marra (McVey); his siblings, Kelly Conner (Patrick), Sheila Piegalski (Donnie), Tommy Marra (Theresa) and Nancy Crosley (Neal); and his stepdaughter Breanne Nichole Hendrix. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
