He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Sandra), Brad (Colleen), Stephen (Jill) and Brian (Katie); his grandchildren, Ingrid, Finn, Erin, Nate, Hans, Jack, Kyle, Sydney, David and James; and his sisters, Joan Schmidt (Robert) and Kay Killian (Gerry).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Doherty Funeral Home (3200 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A burial will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at the St. Patrick's Cemetery - Ashland Ashland Clinton School.
