Norma Towne Clayton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Norma Towne Clayton of Hockessin, Delaware. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Norma Towne Clayton to show support.
Though Norma Towne may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norma Towne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Towne (Treadwell) and Norman P. Towne; her husband John M. Clayton Jr.; and her brothers, Gerald and John Towne.
She is survived by: her daughter Signe Bell (Jason); her granddaughters, Amelia and Adeline Bell; and her brother Kenneth Towne. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Norma's memory be made to the Rufus Porter Museum of Art and Ingenuity, P.O. Box 544, Bridgton, ME 04009.
