Philip Howard Gardner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, Philip Howard Gardner of Hockessin, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Gardner and Ida Maye Gardner; his wife Shirley Covert Gardner; and his brothers, Douglas'Jack'Gardner and Robert Gardner (Bob).

He is survived by: his children, Susan LaMedica (John), Linda Mullin (Kerry) and John Gardner (Tim Whelan); his grandchildren, Kyle Mullin (Melissa), Emily Mullin Pate (Justin), Nick LaMedica (Kate Hoffman) and Kelsey Whelan (Nick Winikoff); and his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Alexandra, Ainsley Pate, Brianna Mullin and Baby Winikoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
