It is with sadness that the passing of Sheila Lyons of Hockessin, Delaware is shared. Sheila, born on January 1, 1967, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Jason Phillips; her parents, Bessie Sexton and Marvin Shorter; and her siblings, Rebecca Tinnerello, Lonnie Dickens and Gary Dickens.
She is survived by: her children, James Lyons (Alyssa), John Lyons (Christal) and Jessica Lyons (Aundre); her stepdaughter Amanda Lyons; her sister Tammy Pack; and her granddaughter Aria.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home (1000 N Dupont Hwy, Wilmington Manor, DE 19720). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, Delaware in Sheila's memory, in honor of her love for animals and her beloved dogs, Louie and Shelby.
