Steve Dunning Obituary
In loving memory of Steve Dunning (Hockessin, Delaware), who departed this world on October 4, 2025 at the age of 81. Steve leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Dunning and Mary Dunning (Desmond); and his brothers, Mike (Clare) and Richard (Marilyn). He is survived by: his girlfriend Rosemary Dunning (Wencl); his children, Karyn (David Stockar) of Avondale, PA and Steve (Carrie); his grandchildren, Kameryn Stockar, Brennan Stockar, Ryan Stockar, Kira Stockar, Stephen Dunning, Drew Dunning and Grace Dunning; and his siblings, Jane (Gene Castellano), Joseph (Ellen), John (Dianne), Jim (Farzin), Robert (Christine) and Ed (Maureen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (7200 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE 19707). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
