We are sad to announce that, on April 24, 2026, at the age of 63, Robert Watkins of Houston, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watkins and Irene Watkins; his son Michael J. Watkins; his sister Pamela M. Watkins; his niece Jennie L. Watkins; and his grandparents, Garnet, Susan Mima Wilfong, William and Mabel Watkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert S. Watkins (Rebecca) of Houston and Joseph A. Watkins of Houston; his stepson Jason Swafford of Lincoln; his pet Missy; his grandchildren, Kaylin Byington (Ray), Makayla Kelley, Mandy Watkins (Hunter), Sonya Watkins and Bridget Watkins; his great grandchildren, Deangelo Watkins-Burdette and Kolton Byington; his siblings, James Sonny Watkins (Helen) of Houston, Rick Watkins of Houston, Doris Warren (Ronald) of Houston and Christine Shea (Joe) of Houston; and his former wives, Diane Stratman and Karen Watkins. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Houston Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 122, Houston, DE 19954.
