We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Amelia Ellen Gordy (Laurel, Delaware), born in Frankford, Delaware. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Adkins and Lily Maude Adkins (Long); her husband Havard Gordy; and her siblings, Ephriam Adkins, Courtland Adkins, Hilda Adams and Irma Mae Adkins.

She is survived by : her daughter Sharon Harte (Benjamin); her granddaughters, Katherine Kudzma (David) and Marcella Harte Conlon (Patrick); her great grandchild Simon Kudzma; and her sister Irma Lee Davis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Evangelist Church (9802 Camp Rd, Laurel, DE 19956). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Evangelistic Church in Laurel, DE, in honor of Amelia's enduring legacy of faith and love.
