While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ward and Dora Ward; her spouse Carrol Cordrey; and her son Mike Cordrey. She is survived by: her siblings, Donald Ward, Joan Ward Smart and George Ward; and her son Kenneth Cordrey of Delmar. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Disharoon Funeral Home Inc. (700 West St, Laurel, DE 19956). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association of America, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60601.
