It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ellen Adams of Laurel, Delaware, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Joseph Boyce and Dora Ruth Betts Boyce; her husband Ira Nelson Adams; her friend Florence M. Truitt; and her brother-in-law Roy A. Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Woodrow Adams (Carol) and Dora Kay Adams; her grandchildren, Alan Schyley Adams, Corey Lee Smith and Brittany Smith; her great grandchildren, Alan Adams Jr., Austin Adams and Emma Smith; her siblings, Marie Ann Boyce Whaley and Joseph Robert Boyce; her brother-in-law Donald L. Hickman; and her siblings' children, Brenda, Jeremiah and Lora Lee. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
