He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood F. Givens and Margaret O. Givens; his wife Mary Lee B. Givens; and his brother James F. Givens. He is survived by: his children, Michael D. Givens (Laura) of Laurel and Michelle G. Farlow (Michael) of Snow Hill, Maryland; his granddaughters, Victoria Libertini, Ruby Farlow and Violet Farlow; his niece Lisa H. Gray (Tim) of Selbyville, Delaware; Bettie Nelson-Givens.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions be made in David "Pete" Givens honor to the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department or any local FFA Chapter of your choice.
