He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Wolfgang and Mary Alice Miner Wolfgang; his sister Georgia Hastings; his sister-in-law Joyce Wolfgang; and his grandson Phillip Lowe.
He is survived by: his children, Robert D. Wolfgang, Lynn W. Twilley and Teresa W. Mercier (Mike); his brothers, Edwin "Pee Wee" Wolfgang (Ruthetta) and Leon Wolfgang; his brother-in-law Franklin Hastings; and his grandchildren, Robert Wolfgang Jr. (Brigid), Valarie Sockriter (Chris), Caitlyn Twilley (Matt), Stephen Lowe (Nicole), Amanda Lowe Whaley, Jessica Hartman (Jacob) and Maegan Mercier. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
