Deborah L. Dickey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah L. Dickey of Laurel, Delaware, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Deborah L. Dickey to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Thomas E. Dickey, III; her children, Awenita Hensley (Stuart), Veronica Dickey, Tommiee Jean Dickey (Tommy), Thomas Dickey, IV (Angela), Franklyn Dickey, Sr. (Marilyn) and Cassandra Dickey; her grandchildren, Patra Pamm Silvia, Kyle Hensley (Victoria), Storm Birkbeck, Rachel Birkbeck, Ben Birkbeck, Andrew Emilyta (Kristina), Selena Francese, Isabella Francese, Thomas E. Dickey, Caleb Dickey, Ariana Dickey, Gabriella Dickey, Pamela Dickey, Skyler Dickey, Frankiee Dickey and Franklyn Dickey, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Kellyn Howell and Alanis Stevens; her brother Franklin Herren, Jr.; her sister-in-law Mildred Dickey; her parents, Helene Biltcliffe Baxter and Franklin S. Herren, Sr.; her sister Pamela Herren; her brother-in-law John Dickey; and her grandchild Peyton Dickey. She was also cherished by siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Short Funeral Home (13 E Grove St, Delmar, DE 19940). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nita and Stu's Home.
