Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Francis Burke and Dorothy King Burke; and his siblings, Joseph F. Burke, Jr., George R. Burke (Joseph F. Burke, Jr.) and Donnlynn Tebber.
He is survived by: his wife Neris Burke of Laurel; his son Jorge F. Burke of Laurel; and his brother Richard M. Burke of Selbyville.
