She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard "Buster" Claypool and Myrtle Ennis Stevens; her husband Herbert "Lance" Meade, Sr.; and her stepfather Roy Stevens. She is survived by: her sons, Herbert Meade, Jr. (Lynn) of Mt. Airey, David Meade (Sue) of Pasadena, Charles Meade of Glen Burnie and Darrell Meade (Charlene) of Laurel, Delaware; her stepdaughters, Darlene Wallace and Linda Thomas of Rainelle; and her sisters, June Smith of Meadow Bridge and Gail Copen of Lewisburg. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; 4 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
