He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Franklin Henry and Elizabeth Melvina Welsh Henry; and his brother Walter Henry. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Ellen Cinquegrani Henry; his sons, Howard E. Henry, Jr. and Kevin Michael Henry; his daughter-in-law Michelle Henry; his grandchildren, Xavier, Brooklyn, Gianna, Tysleigh, Trey, Kainan and Kiera; and his nieces, Michelle Schall and Michelle Rutherford.
