It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Ann e Harrington-LaRue of Laurel, Delaware, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Kathleen Ann leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Harrington and Anne Harrington. She is survived by: her husband James LaRue of Laurel, DE; her children, Mary Lewis (Mark) of Laurel, DE, Robert Harrington of Laurel, DE, Lloyd Harrington of Harrington, DE, Jimmy LaRue (Brandie) of Gambills, MD and Michael LaRue (Jen) of Odessa, FL.; and her pets, Dana, Finn and Cricket. She is also survived by her 5 sisters and 5 brothers and many many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers the family asks for anyone to donate to your local bird sanctuaries, Tunnels to Towers, St. Jude, or your local Boy Scout packs/troops in her honor.
