He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Gahan Johnson; his children, Chris Johnson and Kelley Dunn (Tom); his brother-in-law John Gahan (Pam); his grandchildren, Kimberley Cooper (Kevin), Taylor Johnson and Josh Dunn; his great grandchildren, Kade and Karlee Cooper; his niece Karen Pugh; his nephew Leslie Kimble; his brother Bob; and his pet Pippa.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Philips Episcopal Church (600 S Central Ave, Laurel, DE 19956). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He was a lifetime member of the International Chiefs of Police and the Delaware Police Chiefs Foundation and traveled extensively representing the interests of the Police Chiefs of Delaware.
