She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel J. Boyce and Dora Ruth Betts Boyce; her husband Roy A. Whaley; her sisters, Darleen Boyce Hickman and Barbara E. Boyce Adams; and her brother-in-law Ira Nelson Adams.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda R. Whaley Conaway; her grandson Jeremiah A. Conaway (Amanda Decker); her brother Joseph D. Boyce; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Hickman, Carol Johnson and Thelma Whaley. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law.
In honor of Mrs. Whaley, the family suggest that contributions be made in her honor to the Elliott's Worship Center, 17237 Phillips Hill Road, Laurel, Delaware 19956.
