He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Owens and Mildred Owens (Lyons); his son Timothy Smith Owens; and his former wife Vicki Jo Owens (Daffara). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Owens (Wood); his children, Jason M. Owens, Joy E. Jackson (Chris), Kelly McPherson (Brad), Stephen Minkin (Jane) and Ashley Nawasreh (Zak); his sisters, June Vickers, Nancy Bartell and Elaine Collins; his grandchildren, Caleb, Anna, Joshua, Titus, Samuel, Abbi, Eli, Emmi, Aaron, Austin, Yahya and Noah; and his pet Annie.
