He is survived by: his stepmother Wilma Jean Donophan (McElwain); his wife Dara Michelle Donophan; his sons, Walter Nelson Donophan III and Robert William Donophan; and his grandchildren, Hailey Nicole Donophan and Jacob Allen Donophan.
