With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Doris Peterson (Lewes, Delaware), who passed away on December 28, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris "Tuffy" Smith and Ella Mitchell-Smith; her grandparents, Murray and Elizabeth Joseph; and her brother Melvin Smith.

She is survived by: her husband William J. Peterson; her children, Cynthia L. Prange (Ralph) of Dover, DE, Patricia J. Deel (Larry) of Virginia Beach, VA and William D. Peterson of Milford, DE; her grandchildren, Alysa Zentz, Jennifer Diego (Joe), Michael Pennington (Lexi), Major Jared Zentz (Major Kellie Zentz), Tara Gonzalez (Ian), Brian Pennington and Tanner Peterson; her great grandchildren, Kendal and Audrey Sawyer; her grandchildren, Madyson, Makenzie, Morgan Diego, Kaleb Sawyer, Elijah and Ellie Gonzalez; and her sister Joy Smith.
