She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Galica and Matilda Galica (Skowyra); her sister Nancy Underwood; and her brother-in-law Ronald Lak. She is survived by: her husband Les Lak; her children, Kristen Scesa (Mike), Allison Vavala (Joe), Jonathan Lak (Kelly) and Noelle Ross (Adam); her grandchildren, Michael, Alexa, Tommy, Lila, Emma, Scarlett, Connor, Ella and Sofia; her sisters, Joyce Reed (Roger) and Donna Lapierre; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Lak (Lynn), Jerry Underwood and Cyndi Lak. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Et St. Edmond Catholic Church (409 King Charles Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
