We are sad to announce that, on January 27, 2024, at the age of 96, Caroline M. Short (Lewes, Delaware), born in Wilmington, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jane (May McCall) and Thomas Mairs; her husband James Short, Sr. (Big Jim); her children, Thomas Mairs Short, Sherri Short Eastburn and James Short Jr.; and her brother Tommy Mairs.
She is survived by: her family, Lynn, Anthony Iorii, Cynde Andress, Steve Ademski, Nancy, Phil Durney and Page Holt; her grandchildren, Michael Iorii (Juliet), Brian Andress (Lisa), Jamie Thomas (Clint), Karie Hart (Larry), Kristin Hamlin (Damian), Nicole Durney, Michelle Iorii, Philip Durney III, Casey Millard (Brian), Courtney Moore (Kyle) and Conner Bell; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia Iorii, Scarlette, Sean Andress, Lilly, Piper, Avery Thomas, Ashton, Dylan Hart, Melia, Zoey, Bryson Hamlin, Peyton Saienni, Wade Millard, Campbell and Sutton Moore. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved grand-dogs.
