He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thompson, Jr. and Mildred Jones Thompson; and his brothers, Randall and Kenneth Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly A. Thompson; his children, Mark Thompson, Michael Thompson (Megan), Shannon Ciconte (Nazzareno) and Daniel Thompson (Allison); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Zych, Brian Zych (Michelle) and Blair Zych (Carly). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; one great granddaughter.

Floral expressions will be accepted, however for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church.
