It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Maurice Abbott Sr. of Lewes, Delaware, born in Dudley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Daniel and Lucille (Lucy); his son Daniel Maurice Abbott Jr.; his grandson Daniel Eldridge Cates; and his siblings, Joyce C. (Abbott), Houck and Pederick J. Abbott (Skip).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Amelia Abbott (Hack); his daughter Deborah Lou Coursey (Abbott); and his son-in-law Billy Ray (Lynn Abbott Beebe). He is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
