It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Halfpenny of Lewes, Delaware, born in Havertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Mabel; and his siblings, Richard and Peggy. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Kelly Halfpenny Gerhart (Brent), Kevin Halfpenny (Jen) and Dr. Colleen Halfpenny; his grandchildren, Allie, Brooke, Brett Halfpenny, Gracie, Charlie Gerhart and Delaney Ho; and his siblings, Charles, Mary and Anne.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Don's name to the Elwyn Foundation, 111 Elwyn Rd., Media.
