He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Girdwood and Elizabeth Girdwood; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Susan Girdwood of Augusta, ME; his children, Lisa Naldzin (Brian) and Stephen Girdwood (Deborah); his grandchildren, Ian Girdwood, Michaela Girdwood, Emma McLaughlin and Natasha Naldzin; and his siblings, Donald Girdwood, Janet Morphy, Lois Riggle and Beth Ann Dunlap. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
