We are sad to announce that, on January 19, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Fredrick Joseph Thomsen Jr. of Lewes, Delaware. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Joseph Thomsen and June Thomsen (Baxter); his wife Kay (Warrington); and his sister Lila White (Thomsen) of Downingtown, Pennsylvania.. He is survived by: his daughters, Denise (Thomsen) and Denay Thomsen of Smyrna, Delaware; his sister Sherrie Carullo (Thomsen) of Mount Dora, Florida; his grandchildren, Paul Todd of Land O' Lakes, Justin Kates (Megan) of Media and Summer Kates of Lewes, Delaware; his great grandchild Trinity Todd; and his caregiver Denise.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Lewes Senior Activity Center (https://lewesseniorcenter.org.), where Fred formed many meaningful friendships and enjoyed weekly bingo nights with Denise, or to Delaware Hospice (https://delawarehospice.org.), whose compassionate care brought great comfort to Fred and his family during his final months.
