We are sad to announce that, on April 6, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Glenn W. Materniak (Lewes, Delaware), born in Trenton, New Jersey. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Glenn W. Materniak to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Materniak and Ann M. Materniak (Onda); and his father-in-law Robert J. Deery. He is survived by: his wife Carol Materniak of Lewes, DE; his daughters, Rebecca Materniak (Marek Bloch) and Sarah Gjimaraj (Gigi); his sisters, Beverly Watrous (Bruce) and Donna Korzun (Bill); his mother-in-law Betty Deery; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Deery (Debbie), Kurt Deery (Karen), Susan DeGour (Jim), Denise Wilson (Steve) and Pamela Deery Cuff (Larry). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Glenn's memory with a donation to the Gettysburg Fund at The Gettysburg Foundation, the nonprofit partner of the National Park Service at Gettysburg http://www.gettysburgfoundation.org.

Glenn and I shared both a fondness and great pride regarding our family history, and I'll miss both our conversations as well as sharing our discoveries. I'm so fortunate we were able to bond as adults, and that I was able to know Glenn as the great guy and class act he was. My heartfelt condolences to Carol and family.
