He was predeceased by: his parents, Irwin Shubert and Pearl Shubert; and his wife Beverly Shubert. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Compton (Eric) and Sarah McMullen (Joe); and his grandchildren, Evan Compton, Colin Compton and Kyle McMullen.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
