He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnham Curtis and Jane Curtis (Currie); and his stepdaughter Diana Wise. He is survived by: his wife Susan G. Curtis; his children, Jennifer Curtis (Rich Bell) of Carrboro, Matthew Curtis (Amy Leach) of Mt. Airy, Pennsylvania and Meg Curtis Berreth (Todd Berreth) of Carrboro; his grandchildren, Lucy, Carly, Kate and Jack; his stepdaughter Susan Orten (Tom); and his pet Malcolm Mackenzie.
