He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thoroughgood and Pearl Thoroughgood; his wife Barbara Thoroughgood; and his daughter Nancy Thoroughgood. He is survived by: his stepchildren, William White (Judi) of Montgomery Village, MD, Suzanne Adair (Wiliam Sharp) of Capitol Hill and D. C.; his grandchildren, George Marker (Jamie), Wendy Gill (Curtis), Cynthia White, Stephanie Alderfer (Zachary) and Annie Adair (Francesco Gronchi); and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Marker, Sophia, Deigo Gronchi, Jackson, Charles Gill, Madelyn and Abigail Alderfer.
