John Paul Barton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Paul Barton of Lewes, Delaware, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Barton and Mary Theresa Barton (Giblin); and his pets, Maggie, Sailor and Abbey.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy Barton; his children, Michelle Shifflett (Ray), Bryan Barton (Jennifer) and Michele Schuler; his grandchildren, Raymond Shifflett (Paige), Adam Shifflett, Kristen Lockett, Jessica Sipe, Makayla Emrick, Katie Bowersox, Jeremy Schuler and Leah Barton; his sister Mary Giermek; his siblings-in-law, Chuck Bowersox (Sue) and Barb Koch (Paul); and his pets, Daisy May and Kiki. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
